A Look at Sustainability in Minerva Foods’ Operations
Brazil-based beef producer Minerva Foods has committed to reducing its emissions intensity by 30% by 2030 and become carbon neutral by 2035, a 15-year head start on the well-known Paris Agreement.
Minerva said the emission reductions are in line with methodologies approved by the Science Based Targets Initiative, a non-profit program led by CDP, the World Resources Institute, World Wildlife Fund, and the United Nations Global Pact that create reduction targets in line with climate science.
