Claxton Poultry to Open New USD 12 Mln Processing Plant
Georgia-based poultry producer, Claxton Poultry is looking to expand its operations with a new processing plant worth USD 12 million at the Screven Country Industrial Park.
According to a report from local news channel, WTOC 11 construction of the plant is well under way, with the company planning to have it up and running by May this year. It will primarily be used to supply chicken to food companies and fast food chains and will employ around 120 people when fully operational.
