North American Meat Institute Elects New Officers at Annual Meeting
Julie Anna Potts Officially Elected by Meat Institute Membership to Succeed Outgoing President and CEO Barry Carpenter
The North American Meat Institute (Meat Institute) elected the six new officers who will guide the organization in the next year. The officers were selected during the Meat Institute’s Annual Meeting, held October 5 in Washington, DC.
Joe Maas, vice president of manufacturing and production at JTM Food Group, will serve as chairman, while Warren Panico, president and CEO of Bar-S Foods Co., will serve as vice chairman.
Brad McDowell, president of AB Foods, LLC, Agri Beef Co., will serve as treasurer, and Steve Van Lannen, president and COO, American Foods Group, LLC, has been selected to serve as secretary.
