Which items saw the lowest year-over-year ad prices this week—and which saw the highest.
Feature prices at retail can fluctuate—a lot. Even when circular real estate is consistently earmarked for certain items, the price point can be a notable variable. This week in retail, we rank some of the most attractive buying opportunities for popular proteins and some of the highest comparable YOY prices.
We compared 35 items from the retail meat case and found that 15 showed higher average price levels compared to the same week last year, while 20 items displayed lower prices—a favorable split for consumers.
